EA Q1, 2025 retail competition - KPIs – Terms & Conditions

COMPLETE THE ECCO STORY ECCO Accessories (EA) wishes to help stores strengthen the sales and distribution of our SRA range as a regional retail competitions for the month of March, 2025

1. Participants

The competition is open for all ECCO owned and operated retail stores (full price and outlets) and they will be automatically enrolled in the regional competition. Any employee or store with an ecco.com or ecco.ru e-mail can get access to the competition site, eccoshoeshine.com – however, only stores can be winners.

2. Duration

The COMPLETE THE ECCO STORY competition starts on March 1st, 2025 and ends on March 31st, 2025.

3. Competition basis and how the winner will be selected

3.1 Regional Competition

For the full price channel as well as for the outlet channel (two separate competitions – one for each channel type), the store with the highest SRA% share of net sales in the region during the competition period will be the winner. The second highest will be the runner up etc.

The SRA% share is found by dividing the SRA net sales with the overall net sales of the store i.e. SRA net sales 500€ and total net sales of the store is 5000€, the SRA% share will be 500€/5000€*100 = 10%.

Data displayed on the eccoshoeshine.com site is supplied via ECCOs Common Data Platform and will be updated once a week. Data provided from ECCO’s common Data Platform shall be the only, final and non-constable data source for the competition and the data. Any discrepancies towards local data will not be considered.

For Middle East, data will be supplied manually and made public through the SRA Public Teams Channel.

3.2 Global competition

To enter the global competition, stores must upload a video or photo with captions at eccoshoeshine.com, describing their best tips for selling SRA. All participants can add a like (<3) to their preferred tips. Once the competition period ends, it will no longer be possible to like posts.

The winner of the global post competition will be selected among the 10 most liked posts in the interactive feed at eccoshoeshine.com. The ECCO Accessories jury will choose the winning upload based on:

  • Amount of likes
  • Creativity
  • Effectiveness and ease of roll-out for other stores

In addition, EA may select an additional global ‘surprise winner’ from a store showing exceptional creativity or efforts that may not be completely linked to the competition theme.

The winning posts will be visible at eccoshoeshine.com and may be used for internal articles at ECCONet.

EA will exclude any posts showing real customers in real shopping situations from the competition or posts uploaded via a personal ECCO e-mail address.

It is the responsibility of the store uploading the post to ensure that any employees visible in the posts have been provided relevant consents prior to the upload at eccoshoeshine.com.

The EA jury’s decision is final and non-contestable.

4. Prizes

There will be three prizes for each region in the Full price channel in the form of a credit note of 300€, 200€ and 100€ for the top three best performing full price stores.

There will be 2 prizes for each region in the Outlet channel in the form of a credit note of 300€ and 200€ for the best performing outlets.

For the ME&A region, 3 regional winners of 300€, 200€ and 100€ will be found among the best performing stores regardless of the channel, due to the limited amount of outlets in the region.

The prize for the global post competition as well as the global ‘surprise prize’ are both in the form of a credit note amounting to 300€ to the winner.

The prizes are to be spent on team events benefitting all store employees.

EA will issue the credit notes to the offices responsible for the winning stores, and the local offices are responsible for passing on the prize to the winning stores.

5. Results and announcement of winners

Results of the regional competitions will be visible at the competition website, eccoshoeshine.com and in the SRA Public Channel at ECCOs Teams channel after the end date of the competition. An exception is data from Middle East where winners will be announced in the SRA Public Teams channel one week after the competition closure.

A full announcement of the COMPLETE THE ECCO STORY regional and global winners will happen on eccoshoeshine.com and in the designated Teams channel latest April 15th, 2025.

EA’s appointment of winners is final and cannot be contested or appealed.

6. Organizer

7. Amendments of these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions may be changed by EA if necessary to comply with legislation and/or in case of any events that are outside the reasonable control of EA. Hereunder, EA reserves the right to terminate, extend, delay, modify or cancel the competition. Further EA reserves the right to replace the Prize(s) if circumstances beyond EA’s reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
